EME O. WILLIE'S STORY
This presents the observer with the possibility to interpret the artwork, stirring both imagination and dreams. Aesthetic expression and solid craftsmanship with a brush or palette make her paintings unique and original. Eme was born in Nigeria in 1959 and has been living in Denmark since 1979. Eme is a true autodidact and since 2004 she has continuously been exhibiting in a large number of art associations, private and public companies in Denmark.

Eme has successfully been granted the seal of approval by participating in two state-recognized national exhibitions: Den Frie Exhibition in Copenhagen “The Artists’ Autumn Exhibition” (KE) in 2007, and “The Artists’ Summer Exhibition (KS) in 2010.

My name is Eme O. Willie. I am an artist. I have lived in Viborg since 1977, but originally came from Nigeria. My passion is painting, especially oil paintings and I have exhibited since 2004 in companies and twice at the open censored exhibition in Silkeborg. In 2007, I was admitted to the Artists’ Autumn Exhibition, Den Frie, in Copenhagen. I paint with heart, abstract motifs with warm strong colors.
The inspiration comes from both Africa and Europe. Nature, figures, people and animals are recognizable elements in the paintings. My desire is to start the fantasies and dreams of the viewer, who gets new energy to meet the world.
